Independent Living Skills Training

Our Independent Living Skills Counselors assist our clients with services that develop, maintain and improve the community living skills. We do this by providing an assessment in the areas of need and devoloping measurable goals in these areas. Quarterly reviews are completed to do continued assessment of ongoing needs. Goals and objectives are modified as needed. ILS training is direct training from a staff person to address the identified skill development needs.

ILS training is direct training from a staff person to address the identified skill development needs of a person in the areas of:

  • Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior

  • Sensory/motor development involved in acquiring functional skills
