Winter Employee Celebration
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to truly be satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” Some very sage advice from the late Steve Jobs. We recognize that Howry employees spend a lot of time assisting and caring for others; therefore, we held a Winter Celebration to recognize all of our staff members and the tireless work that they put into their jobs each and every day.
Guests were welcomed to the event by members of our Employee Appreciation Committee and given a deck of playing cards. They were also encouraged to play a human scavenger hunt with other attendees. People learned some interesting facts about one another from this entertaining game. For example, did you know that our trainer, David Hadlich, had ridden a camel before? While people were playing the game, appetizers and music were abundant. It appeared as though everyone was having quite the enjoyable time. Names were drawn for prizes, which included everything from Howry swag to a 32” television and Shark vacuum cleaner. The evening concluded with some cake and more conversations as well as bowling at the lanes.
