Medication Administration Management is a course designed to teach unlicensed staff how to administer medications safely and accurately. Students attending this course often serve populations which may include people who have developmental disabilities, mobility impairments, mental illness, traumatic brain injury, chemical dependency, and/or elderly populations.
Our Medication Administration Management course is taught by a nurse and is designed to give each student the information and attention that they need to confidently administer medications and accurately document their administration.
By the end of this course; attendees will be familiar with the drug categories, labeling, prescriptions, drug administration and the accompanying paper work. Attendees will also be involved in demonstrations on the administration of tablets, capsules, creams, ointments, fluids, inserting drops to ear, nose, or eye and inhaled medication.
