I am the parent of two adult children who are fortunate enough to be cared for by Howry Residential Services. I have the highest regard for Howry and their well trained staff. The expertise, genuine compassion, and consistent quality care is unsurpassed. Howry staff listen, are flexible and adapt quickly and thoroughly to the dynamic needs of my children. I love the ease with which some very difficult situations have been managed for both of my children, and communication is always prompt and appropriate. I have seen Howry from the inside out as my son was privileged to be hired by them and worked in direct care for several years. Working with HRS is wonderful! The clients really do come first. HRS staff take the time to go the extra mile. A Program Director holding “anniversary parties” for a client each year she resides in her HRS home. HRS management allowing a client to have his dog while living in corporate foster care. HRS developed a very creative staffing plan to allow a mom and her kids to stay in their own home as a family rather than having the mom live separately from her children. HRS management and line staff listen to input from team members. HRS staff work as a team with outside providers and among themselves. If there are any concerns, I know that they will be addressed and resolved. I trust HRS fully to ensure my clients’ needs will be met.

Manny’s Residential Services has been consulting with Howry Residential Services since it opened in 2008. Not only did Howry guide us through the licensing process in developing policies and procedures, but also Susan, who was the CEO, appeared in front of the City Hall to alleviate any concerns the community may have had about us opening a home in the city. Once the home was opened, Howry made sure that we had access to all resources, including personnel who were assigned to us on a continuous basis to ensure that all requirements were met. Howry continues to be supportive to Manny’s with its training, billing, and any new license requirements. Howry is not only a consultant, but also a mentor and for that, we at Manny’s are very grateful and appreciative.
